Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of citatio.ai, operated by Gipfel Marketing AG, Schwyz, Switzerland ("we"). By using this website you accept these terms.
2. The service
Citatio is a meta-search for customer reviews: it indexes publicly accessible reviews and publishes per-company analyses - themes, sentiment, trends and short verbatim snippets, each linked to its original source. We never publish or reproduce full review texts. What appears on our pages is limited to short quoted snippets (max. 200 characters) that point readers to the original review on its platform, in the same way a search engine shows result snippets. The analyses are computed from the indexed review corpus as described in our methodology; we make no claim of completeness.
3. Review content and intellectual property
Reviews belong to their authors and the platforms they were published on. As a meta-search we display only short verbatim excerpts (max. 200 characters) with attribution and a link to the original - the full review remains exclusively on its source platform, and our pages are never a substitute for it. Aggregate statistics, analyses and page content are our own work. You may cite our pages with attribution and a link; systematic scraping or republication of substantial parts of the site is not permitted without our consent. AI crawlers are welcome per our robots.txt.
4. Acceptable use
You may not disrupt the operation of the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use the content to mislead - including presenting our analyses as an official statement of a listed company or of a review platform.
5. No warranty
The site is provided "as is". Review data changes constantly; despite careful processing we do not warrant accuracy, completeness or availability. The analyses reflect what reviewers report - they are not our endorsement of, or warning about, any company.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect damage and lost profit. Mandatory statutory liability (e.g. for gross negligence or intent) remains unaffected.
7. Companies listed on Citatio
Listings are compiled from public sources; content cannot be bought and reviews cannot be altered or removed on request of the listed company. If you believe data about your company is factually wrong, contact us.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Place of jurisdiction is Schwyz, Switzerland, subject to mandatory statutory venues.
