Controller
Gipfel Marketing AG, Schwyz, Switzerland (UID CHE-491.121.680) operates citatio.ai and is the controller for the data processing described here. Contact: contact@gipfel-marketing.ch.
What we process when you visit this site
Server and security logs. Our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure (including Cloudflare, Inc.) processes technical data such as IP address, user agent, requested pages and timestamps to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose errors. Logs are kept only as long as technically necessary.
Cookies. We use only functional cookies (e.g. a session cookie for the administration area) and the analytics storage described below. We set no advertising cookies.
Analytics. We use PostHog (PostHog EU - data hosted in the European Union) to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, referrer, browser type and similar usage data. We use it for aggregate product statistics, not for advertising, and we do not sell this data.
Contact. If you e-mail us or book a call (via Google Calendar appointment scheduling), we process the details you provide to handle your request. Google's own privacy terms apply to the booking tool.
Review content
Citatio aggregates customer reviews that their authors published on publicly accessible platforms (e.g. review portals and app stores). Our legitimate interest is providing transparent, source-linked review intelligence. We display short verbatim excerpts (max. 200 characters) with a link to the original and do not display reviewer names on public pages. If you are a review author and want an excerpt of your review removed from our pages, contact us - we will remove it promptly.
Data sharing and transfers
We share data only with the technical service providers necessary to operate the site (hosting, content delivery). Some providers may process data outside Switzerland/the EEA; where they do, recognized safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) apply. We never sell personal data.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@gipfel-marketing.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves; the current version is always published on this page.
